We were invited to attend a service in the Church grounds by the Greek Orthodox church to celebrate the feast of St Peter and St Paul at Agia Kyriaki, It was held on the site of the old Basilica close to the church where the foundations still remain. A procession followed the service accompanied by a marching band, Various dignitaries including Bishop George, three other bishops, members of the Cypriot Army, navy and local politicians.were in attendance.
