Chrism Mass. There will be a Mass for the renewal of priestly vows with The Auxilary Bishop of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, Bishop Shomali on Wednesday 20th April at 11am in Nicosia. If you would like to come please let either Fr. Carlos or Fr. Jim know so as we could hire a coach. The cost for the coach will depend on numbers.

There are no flowers in Lent, however Easter is a major time for flowers in the Church. Urgent help is needed to build a team for this. If you can help please contact Cynthia on 96306443.

Party at Kolios Winery. Thursday 28th April 1 – 6pm is the Kolios Winery Party. 32e coach included or 28e with own transport. Ann Bains is organising this to book contact her on 99153725.

Flower Festval May 4th – 6th. Volunteers are needed to help with stewarding, programmes, directions if you can help there is a list with times when help is needed in the Hospice coffee shop.

Holy Week.
Holy week starts next Sunday with Palm Sunday.
Masses at Agias Kyriaki Please note that Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday Masses take just that little bit longer, so please be patient and quiet if waiting to come into a Mass. Palm Sunday Masses are as normal. The Palm Sunday 12noon Mass will start outside the Church in the area above the bridge. On The Wednesday of Holy Week (20th April) There is a Penitential Service at 5pm in Agias Kyriaki followed by Mass. A chance to go to confession before Easter. Holy Thursday; Mass of the Last Supper is at 6pm followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 7 – 8pm. Good Friday; The Passion of our Lord is at 3pm. Holy Saturday; the Vigil Mass is at 7pm. Easter Sunday Masses are as normal at 10am (Latin); 11am (Polish); 12noon (English). During the Easter Triduum there are 3 Collections. Holy Thursday for the poor. A chance to put our Lenten Alms in the collection. This collection is going to Sudan. On Good Friday the collection is for the Holy Places. At the Easter Vigil and on Easter Sunday the Collection is for the Priests of the Parish.

Polis.
The Polis Holy Week Programme is very similar. Palm Sunday Mass will be celebrated on Saturday evening at 6pm. There is a Penitential Service at 6pm on Monday (18th April). Holy Thursday; Mass of Last Supper is 6pm with Adoration from 7 – 8pm. Good Friday; The Passion of our Lord at 3pm The Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday is at 7pm. The same 3 collections will be taken. There are no Easter Sunday services.
