Hospice Builing Update

The external tiling to the Hospice has now been completed in record time, this will now enable the Patio Doors to be fitted and other work to make the Hospice watertight in time for winter. Despite the recent storm and yesterday’s rain, little water is evident inside our building!

New Hospice Shop

Father Carlos Ferrero blessed our new Hospice Shop fortuitously on St Michael’s feast day! The shop opening followed 3 weeks of preparation inspired by Ruth Mott and Wendy Burdon, (shop manager’s) who co-ordinated the team of volunteers at their disposal, and led by example, the result is a very bright, modern facility which will contribute a significant amount of much needed cash to help with the Hospice opening next year. The shop signage is noticeable from the church and is very easy to find, please drop in for a coffee when in the area (it is next door to the old one!).
