Over 150 supporters of the Archangel Michael Hospice met on Sunday (10th March) to witness first hand the progress of the building. The afternoon started with a tour of the facility followed by a picnic lunch in the Hospice day room, music and dancing. Continue reading
On Friday evening February 1st, 190 people attended an event in the Aquamare Hotel, to mark the fact that our dreams are rapidly turning to reality and that the Hospice is nearing completion! As you are aware, we were contacted recently by Martine Spyridonos, Communications Manager for Sodexo, a huge Multinational Company who employ 850 people on the Island. Last Thursday 27th December the consecrated people -Maronite and Latin rites- of the island celebrated Christmas together.
A reflection was hold about the Church in the Middle East following the POST-SYNODAL APOSTOLIC EXHORTATION FOR THE MIDDLE EAST. It followed the practical ways to work together and witness our Faith in the world of today.
Finally we shared the lunch and the meeting ended with many Christmas songs from every part of the world.
We thank God for this opportunity He gave us to share this joy of having God among us!
