May was a great month dedicated to Our Lady and this year we have had the great joy of John Paul II becoming beatified so he is now Blessed john Paul II.

June has some of the major feasts of the Church thus making it a great month of Rejoicing – Next weekend is the feast of Pentecost when we thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then we have the great celebration of Trinity Sunday, remembering the relationship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit – three persons yet one God. Finally the feast of Corpus Christi – a time to remind ourselves of the centrality of the Holy Eucharist in our faith and lives.

We have Holy Communions and Confirmations taking place soon so please remember the young people and children and their families in your prayers. These Sacraments are so important to the life of a Parish. Many thanks to the Catechists who have prepared them.
